Our lab is also interested in understanding the mechanisms which underlie cognitive deficits‚ such as those associated with aging and psychological diseases. We hope our studies can lead to identify the potential pharmacological targets for treating memory disorders. Current focuses of our lab are identifying the molecular mechanisms of memory and memory disorders‚ and has the following projects: 1. Temporal involvement of aCaMKII during memory formation 2. Molecular and cellular mechanisms for long-term memory formation and storage in neocortical area 3. Regulation of CaMKI expression and protein complex interation during development and memory formation Research FieldsCognitive Neuroscience 1 Cognitive Neuroscience 1 Enrollment and TrainingCourseScientific ResearchAcademic Achievements1983 - 1988: B.S. in Medicine‚ Dept. of Medicine‚ Zhejiang Medical University‚ Hangzhou‚ P.R.China 1993 - 1999: Ph.D. in Pharmacology‚ Dept. of Pharmacology‚ Rutgers University / Robert Wood Johnson Medical School‚ University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey‚ Piscataway‚ New Jersey‚ USA Honor |
